About D-1

D-1 Elite Basketball teaches kids how to use basketball as a tool to further their education and become college athletes. Through player & team development we are helping young athletes achieve the most out of their basketball journeys. Whether its making your perspective varsity team or getting recruited by college coaches we take pride in helping our players achieve their dreams.  Team concepts and training's are led by D-1 Standout and Euro Pro Jared Stohl.

The D-1 season varies per age group. 5th, 6th & 7th Grade seasons go from March to August. Over that time we aim to get 7-8 Tournaments equates to about a 32 game season.

Depending on what tourneys open. We plan for about 2 travel tournaments and 6 local tournaments.

Practices are generally on Tuesdays and Thursdays or Mondays and Wednesdays between 6-9pm.

We will be incorporating Skill training at the first 30 minutes of every practice and the last hour will be team scrimmages. We like to teach and develop players through controlled scrimmages similar to a college practice setting.

We offer paid coaching, No parents of players are on the teams, and we do not allow more than 10 players on a team. All coaches get background checks through AAU.

We like to put our teams in the top tournaments in the state, youth teams travel as far Oregon or some elect to go as far as Vegas. Our 15-17u travels the most as they are playing at showcase tournaments in front of college coaches. Unless you are a top 100 recruit you probably aren't being recruited until your Junior Season.
