Tryouts are now over. Teams are listed by class. Thank you to everyone who tried out this year. This was a very talented group that came out.
D-1 Elite Basketball teaches kids how to use basketball as a tool to further their education and become college athletes. Through player & team development we are helping young athletes achieve the most out of their basketball journeys. Whether its making your perspective varsity team or getting recruited by college coaches we take pride in helping our players achieve their dreams. Team concepts and training's are led by D-1 Standout and Euro Pro Jared Stohl.
The D-1 season varies per age group. 5th, 6th & 7th Grade seasons go from March to the first week of June, while 8th grade plus go from April through July. June is off for 8th plus due to high school summer ball. 7-8 Tournaments equates to about a 32 game season.
Practices are generally on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6-9pm.
Optional Skill training will be on Mondays and Speed & Agility will be on Wednesdays. You get out of it what you put into it.
We offer paid coaching, No parents of players are on the teams, and we do not allow more than 10 players on a team. All coaches get background checks through AAU.
We like to put our teams in the top tournaments in the state, youth teams travel as far Oregon or some elect to go as far as Vegas. Our 17u travels the most as they are playing at showcase tournaments in front of college coaches. Unless you are a top 100 recruit you probably aren't being recruited until your Junior Season.
